INGREDIENTS

(Serves 4)

  • 2 bananas
  • 3 small steamed beetroots
  • 2 cups organic wholegrain oats
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp organic cacao
  • 1 tbsp organic carob powder
  • 100ml milk/plant milk

To serve:

Fresh berries, mixed seeds, natural yoghurt

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees/fan.

Place the bananas, beetroot, egg, cacao and carob in a food processor and blitz until creamy.

Pour the mixture into a bowl with the oats and milk, and stir until combined.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cook in the oven for 30-40 minutes, until firm to the touch but still slightly gooey.

Serve with fresh berries, mixed seeds and a whole yoghurt of your choice.
